UEFA Award Tottenham Hotspur Bye To Last Sixteen Of UEFA Cup

Spurs have been given a bye to the next round of the UEFA Cup, after the European governing body UEFA expelled their opponents Feyenoord from the competition.
The Dutch outfit have been thrown out as a result of the poor behaviour of their supporters. Who have been involved in clashes during the group stage, most notably against Blackburn Rovers.

The bye will help ease Tottenham’s fixture congestion as they continue to compete on four fronts. However there could be a little rumbling from the  Spurs board room, they could seek compensation for lost revenue from gate receipts and TV money.
