Wayne Rooney has been sent off during their opening game of the LG Amsterdam Tournament against Porto. He appeared to hit Pepe with his forearm as he attempted to head the ball. Minimal contact was made but it was enough for the player to fall to the ground faster than a sack of spuds. It is the second time in 34 days that Rooney has seen red against Portuguese opposition.
