Milan Keeper Dida Has Signed For Barcelona According To Brazilian Radio Station Jovem Pan

According to Brazilian radio station Jovem Pan, AC Milan goalkeeper Dida has signed a three year contract with FC Barcelona. The 34 year old will leave the Italian giants in June when his contract is finished.

Jovem Pan reports that Dida’s reason for leaving is purely financial and that he had already turned down a contract that would see him earning less than team-mates, Kaka and Seedorf.

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi said on Thursday due to Dida’s extortionate salary demands, he was resigned to losing his goalkeeper at the end of the season.

Should Dida leave, it is expected that the Milanese club will seek to replace him with Juventus stopper Gianluigi Buffon.
