The England football team officially have a new manager, Steve McClaren was at Soho Square today for his first day at work.  He indicated to members of the press gathered outside that he would stamp his authority on the position and do it his own way.

It remains to be seen exactly what that might mean, will it be more attractive football, more flare or even new faces in the England squad. One thing for sure is there will be a new captain following David Beckham’s resignation shortly after the World Cup finals.
