The Emirates exodus is not over, the glaring omission of Jose Antonio Reyes from the Arsenal team sheet will fuel speculation that the Spanish Forward is due to leave Arsenal and their new home at the Emirates Stadium; for a new life in sunny Spain where he will join Real Madrid and their team of Galacticos. 

Reyes was pictured in a Real Madrid shirt in both Marca and the Sun in recent days. The image was supposedly taken when the sides met in the champions league last season. Earlier last season he was duped into admitting his desire to move to the Santiago Bernabéu, in a prank on a Spanish radio show.

Reyes has never really settled in London, and has been constantly linked with moves back to Spain. Arsene Wenger has never shirked when difficult decisions have to be made, he released Sol Campbell from the final year of his contract after he had expressed the desire to move abroad. He has also stated that the future of Ashley Cole and the proposed move to Chelsea will be decided before the end of the week.
