Chris Coleman is waiting on tender hooks as he looks to land Clint Dempsey from the US Major League Soccer side New England Revolution. The deal is subject to the player being awarded a work permit.

If successful Dempsey will join fellow Americans Brian McBride and Carlos Bocanegra at the Cottage.
