Piers Morgan visited South Africa to highlight what was going on there before the World Cup and what it meant to the people, whilst he was there he met Siphiwo Desmond Ntshebe who was chosen by Nelson Madela to convey a unique global message of hope at the opening of the World Cup in South Africa. It followed his story as a man who had been given an opportunity to sing to an audience of over 2 billion viewers worldwide, Piers Morgan even accompanied him to the stadium where he would sing in just a few weeks. The Piers came on screen to say that after only been back a few weeks he had heard the tragic news that Siphiwo Desmond Ntshebe had tragically passed away after contracting a virulant form of meningitis. To be so close to a dream that this Tenor who had been dubbed the ‘new Pavorotti’ is a tradegy. The powerful track carries a special message of hope and compassion written by Nelson Mandela and spoken by the 91-year-old Father of South Africa on the record.

“In memory of Siphiwo Desmond Ntshebe, the Building Lasting Hope Charity has been set up to promote and the benefit of the people in South Africa and the UK by the advancement of education and training; the relief of poverty, sickness and distress; the promotion of good health; and the provision of recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life.”
