Birmingham City Manager Steve Bruce believes he was forced to sell his Son Alex, to stop him being taunted for being a daddy’s boy. Alex played 11 games in the blues colours and enjoyed loan spells at Oldham Athletic, Sheffield Wednesday, and Tranmere Rovers. He has been offered an opportunity by Ipswich Town to further his footballing career starting with the opening game against Crystal Palace.
