Coventry City Apoint Iain Dowie As Manager At The Ricoh Arena
Iain Dowie is due to be unveiled at the Ricoh Arena today as the new manager of Coventry City. The post became vacant when Micky Adams was relieved of his position after a poor run of form in January.
Coventry are currently 17th in the Championship with just 38 points. Dowie is not unfamiliar to this type of situation having joined Crystal Palace in a similar position. He managed to turn their season around and took Palace to the premiership after winning the play-off final.
Dowie has impressive managerial statistics that would have helped him become the strongest candidate for the Sky Blues position. In 222 games he has won 86, drawn 75 and lost just 61. Those stats would be even more impressive had his spell at Charlton Athletic been removed as in his 15 games they won 4, drew 3 and lost 8.

Great blog, really informative piece on Coventry City, if your watching a game why not stay in one of the many Coventry City hotels.
