Cristiano Ronaldo has dragged Manchester United to the top of the Premiership single handedly this season. His form has been electric and he has dazzled audiences week in week out. So it is understandable that the world’s biggest clubs would be looking to secure his services.

Bobby Charlton has spoken out about the transfer speculation that he believes is unsettling the youngster. Charlton was attending an award ceremony in Barcelona, a city that is home to one of the clubs who are looking to sign Ronaldo. Charlton said “It’s really destabilising for both the club and the player to have all this speculation about his future.”

Charlton commented on the form of the Portuguese International saying “Ronaldo is having a marvellous season and he is enjoying himself at Manchester United,”; Sir Bobby with knows all about Manchester United and he has hinted that Ronaldo should stay at Old Trafford he told reporters “I can see no reason at all why he should want to play for another club.”
