Berbatov Transfer Rumours Not Quelled By Announcements By Tottenham Hotspur Or His Agent
Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov has earned rave reviews in his first season in the Premiership. He received the player of the month award with fellow Spurs front man Robbie Keane and he was named in the Premiership team of the year.
His performances have alerted the managers of the big four and forced Spurs manager Martin Jol to face interview questions about the future of one of his prized possessions. Earlier this season Jol mentioned that for the right fee all of his players are for sale. However his stance has changed a little in the interview after the game against Charlton where he said that Berbatov has no need to leave Tottenham, as Berbatov is at home at Spurs and the fans worship him.
Berbatov’s agent has told the press that the player is “very happy with Tottenham” a statement that follows his previous comment that Berbatov will be a Spurs player next season. When he arrived a White Hart Lane he said he chose Spurs as they were the first club interested in taking him to England. The Bulgarian international appears to be a man of his word and will be looking to repay the club for their conviction, the fans can rest assured that Berbatov will be a Tottenham Hotspur player for some time to come.

man untd wouldnt suit berbs they require players with more pace ie, wayne rooney and christina wish he was ronaldo! both of whom flatter to decieve and are only really good for a gallop!!!! berbs likes to play with a little culture something neither man untd or chelsea would or could understand i mean both clubs are little more than the money sucking whores of world football.

If Berbatov went to MU - he might win titles - but probably from the bench! Don’t get me wrong - he deserves regular starts but lets face it so does the rest of MU’s squad. Stay at Spurs mate - first team all the time and breaking into the top 4 is much more of an achievement than coming first out of 4… Don’t go!!!
